Exeter Clinic Mole Removal Surgery – cosmetic radiosurgery

Exeter Mole Removal Clinic branch of St Mellion Clinic, skin tag and wart removal Moles, cysts and skin tags are extremely common on the face and other parts of the body. They can be cosmetically embarrassing as well as cause problems when applying make-up, shaving or catching on clothing. Mole removal is a painless and simple procedure that takes about 20 minutes and is carried out at our doctor’s clinic. We use the latest surgical or laser techniques to remove moles. In most cases no stitches are needed and any scarring is minimal. You can resume normal activities immediately afterwards. At the consultation we will perform a mole skin check to see if the mole or skin lesion should be sent for testing (histology) to rule out anything suspicious.

I have a flat mole the size of a pencil eraser on my cheek, It’s not cancerous and it hasnt grown since I was in middle school.

Could it be removed by laser or shaving method and will it leave any scarring? thanks.

stmellionclinic Says:

Yes.

Junctional naevi

Junctional naevi have groups or nests of naevus cells at the junction of the epidermis (outer layer of the skin) and the dermis (inner layer). These tend to be flat colourful moles.

Compound naevi

The compound naevus has nests of naevus cells at the epidermal-dermal junction as well as within the dermis (compound naevi). These moles have a central raised area surrounded by flat pigmentation.

how much dose it cost for 1 mole removal?

stmellionclinic Says:

Most skin lesions can be excised. Be aware you need to have digital images, mole mapping if you have multiple lesions and family history of moles or skin cancer. Prior to excision we also use dermoscopy to analysis the lesion. ALL specimens are to be sent for histology for a proper diagnosis.

Spitcane Says:

can this take off a flat mole on face? The mole itself is small. its like the size of this “o” but its black so its visible and i dont like to have stuffs on my face. I got turned down by a laser surgeon saying it would cause a scar and leave me worse than the mole itself. Is there a way i could be turned down this procedure cuz it would be worse than the mole or some bs like that?

TheGongShow19 Says:

Is this procedure becoming more wide-spread among cosmetic surgeons or is it still a relatively new process?
Are there any clinics that do this in canada?

stmellionclinic Says:

Young children can have the procedure upon consent from a guardian.

stmellionclinic Says:

Radiosurgery can be done at any age. So long as Consent is given by guarding. IMORTANT: Consultation and examinaion will determine the final decision

aspy99 Says:

how old do you have to be and do you have to have a jab be4 it??

stmellionclinic Says:

Before any procedure is under taken. A FULL MEDICAL HISTORY AND EXAMINATION IS UNDER TAKEN. Lesion are sent for HISTOLOGY. Some lesion are SCANNED WITH DERMOSCOPE.

stmellionclinic Says:

It is NOT A PAINFUL PROCEDURE. The procedure is done under LOCAL ANAESTHETIC. With other methods of surgery you experience pain. With radiosurgery there in NO PAIN. There ar NO STICHES. BLEEDING is MINIMAL
